Our client in Dinnington is looking for an Electrical / Mechanical Technician to start immediately.

Main Responabilities:
• The key technical features of the role include the maintenance of electrical, pneumatically and hydraulically actuated process equipment, for the treatment of hazardous and non hazardous waste. • The maintenance of all electrical and mechanical site services by reactive and planned methods. • Reporting work status accurately and in a timely manner. • Maintaining engineering and safety records in line with statutory requirements. • Working within teams to solve problems, develop and implement improvements. • The supervision of contractors will also be a requirement of this role including the issue of permits to work.

Key Skills & Qualifications:
• Technical Skills Preferred • Use of PLC’s • Pump controls and systems • Waste Treatment processes • Basic welding Required • Electrical Maintenance of process machinery. • Experience with machine control systems. • A.C. single and three phase systems. • Mechanical maintenance Qualifications Preferred • HNC integrated/electrical engineering • 17th Edition Wiring Regulations Required • BTEC/ONC or equivalent in Electrical Engineering. • Electrical/Mechanical Apprenticeship • COMPEX certification.
