Deputy Nurse Manager

 

Dual registered nursing and residential home providing for clients whose needs are associated with mental health. The home provides a specialist service for those with the potential for challenging behaviour. .

 

 DETAILS OF THE ROLE AVAILABLE:

 

 Hours:

  • 42 hours per week (3 and 4 roster) 8am
  • Full time role required (deputy manager on the rota)
  • Week one – Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday 8am-8pm
  • Week Two – Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 8am-8pm

 

 Shifts: The role of Deputy is primarily working on the day shift as above,
opposite the registered manager – on call may also be required

JOB SUMMARY:

 

The role of the Deputy will ensure that
a high level of nursing care is offered to all of our clients, supporting and
guiding the care staff and supporting the Registered Manager with all aspects
of the home.

 

ROLE SPECIFICATION:

 

QUALIFICATION:

  • RMN or EQUIVALENT
  • REGISTERED WITH NMC
  • WILLINGNESS TO UNDERTAKE FURTHER TRAINING
  • ENHANCED AND CLEAN CRB / DBS CLEARANCE

  • GOOD VERBAL COMMUNICATION SKILLS
  • CLEAR AND PRECISE WRITTEN SKILLS
