iRecruit are currently seeking an experienced Appointed Person/Crane Supervisor to work on an ongoing basis (minimum 3 month period) for a global turn-key cooling systems supplier at their site in St Dennis, Cornwall. To work in this role you will need to hold a valid CPCS card for both being a Crane Supervisor and Appointed Person for Lifting Operations. You will also need to have completed courses in both Safe Working at Heights and a Safety Harness for use and inspection.
Duties:
- Preparation and issuing of lifting plan as per site rules (after this will be given to professional when he is on site). For this the professional should be able to analyze documents (ground conditions, crane/ telehandler manuals and other relevant document that are necessary to issue to the lifting plans), selected the correct equipment’s to perform lifting operations;
- Follow in site the lifting activities as crane supervisor;
- Interface with crane coordinator in site to solve issues regarding lifting operations;
- Check the documentation of equipment`s before this enter in site (maintenance and other records);
- Attend meetings in site regarding lifting operations.
- Keep all the lifting documentation organized and updated.
