iRecruit are currently seeking a capable and experienced IT professional to work in a sales support role for one of Yorkshire's leading Managed IT Service providers. The successful candidate will be providing daily support to the sales team, ensuring that customer specifications and requirements are met whilst also being the main point of contact for any inquiries. Upselling opportunities mean there is potential to earn great commission and the company allow great room for progression into various areas as they are constantly growing.

The Role

Working in a sales support capacity, you will be actively supporting the team of account managers in a number of ways within the IT and Telecoms division. An office based role, you will be the first point of contact for customers looking to purchase various IT and Telecoms products and services. After an initial meeting with an account manager, a client will send their requirements over to sales support. It will therefore be your task to go over this information with the customer, ensuring all is correct and advising them on the best options which are both cost effective and the right quality. Using your knowledge of the industry, you will discuss products and prices with suppliers as well as the internal purchasing team and prepare sales quotations for customers accordingly, converting these into orders. A large aspect of the role is finding the best costings, providing the best margins for the company as well as the best quality for customers. Other aspects of the role include managing the renewals process, raising service jobs and registering special bids. The successful candidate will also identify potential opportunities with vendors and upsell products and services when possible.

Requirements

" Experience within a similar IT support role essential
