iRecruit are currently seeking an experienced and driven sales individual with experience in the door industry to work as a Business Development manager for a fast growing manufacturer based in Doncaster. The successful candidate will ideally be based in commutable distance from the site and will benefit from a competitive salary, company car and bonus opportunities.

The Role

As a Business Development Manager you will be proactive in seeking new opportunities to drive the business forward. Selling into a number of industries but with a key focus on the social housing sector, you will be seeing clients predominantly in the Yorkshire area but there may also be occasional requirements to travel down to London and elsewhere. With experience in the door industry you will be knowledgeable and provide a consultative approach to clients. Although there are a number of current accounts that the company work with, you will be seeking to drive the business forward and developing your own client base.

The Company

Based in Doncaster, the company are a fast growing manufacturer of various types of timber doors and windows. Operating for over ten years, they have grown to a considerable size and are looking to expand further. With a firm client base in Yorkshire they are looking to develop this further with the addition of a new Business Development Manager to join their team.

Requirements

·         Experience of selling to the door industry essential

·         Experience of selling to social housing desirable but not essential

·         Driven and self-motivated individual

·         Strong communication skills

·         Able to work well on own initiative
