iRecruit are currently seeking a highly experienced and capable Mechanical Design Engineer with experience in Building Services. The successful candidate will be highly competent on both Hevacomp & AutoCAD and will be adept at mechanical designing of HVAC, heating and general energy efficiency systems for the commercial market. The Role

As a Mechanical Building Services Design Engineer, you will be tasked with providing intricate designs as per agreed specification for numerous customers within the commercial market as well as the retail, leisure & industrial sectors. Using both Hevacomp and AutoCAD you will take a professional approach in assisting customers with requirements and will ensure all designs are completed on time and to the correct standards. As you will be working with energy efficiency systems, it is important that you have experience with HVAC & heating systems, as well as an understanding of BREEAM/SBEM/Part L.

The Company

Based in South Yorkshire, the company are a fast growing Building Service Engineering organisation who have been operating for nearly 15 years. Working on projects of up to £2 million, their portfolio and customer based is both large and vast, with potential operations spanning various areas of the country. Providing numerous M & E building service solutions they now require an additional Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team in Wakefield.

Requirements

·         Deep understanding of Hevacomp {long hand calculation knowledge is acceptable}

·         Highly competent with Autocad

·         Experience with Energy efficiency systems, heating/HVAC

·         Experience of mechanical systems within the retail/commercial/industrial/Leisure sectors

·         BREEAM/SBEM/Part L
