iRecruit are currently seeking an experienced foreman to work with an international powered access company at their depot in Haydock. The successful candidate will be effectively be in charge of ensuring that all machines and platforms are well maintained both on site and off site. With the opportunity to manage a team this is a great opportunity for a strong Supervisor looking for their next career move.

The Role

As site foreman you will be in charge of a team of staff and Engineers in ensuring all platform equipment and machinery is well maintained and looked after both on site and elsewhere. You will coordinate activities in relation to the maintenance and service of a variety of access equipment, including cherry pickers, mounted platforms and scissor lifts. You will ideally be from an access background and meet health and safety requirements whilst also maximising the availability of machines.

Working on an international basis for over 40 years, the company are a market leading provider of a variety of powered access equipment which includes mounted platforms, scissor lifts and cherry pickers. With over 500 branches across Europe, they have built an enviable reputation within the industry and are looking to continue that further. Priding themselves on a strong service and good customer retention they now require a new Foreman to join the team in Haydock.

Requirements

·         Experience within Access or similar such as heavy plant or cranes

·         Good communication skills and a customer focus

·         Supervisory experience

·         Full driving license
