JOB DESCRIPTION

We are now recruiting for an Assistant Project Accountant to work for a prestigious engineering company with national contracts.

You will be based in the Derby area and looking to establish a long term career in accountancy, either studying or part qualified accountant/payroll manager.  

Required Experience

Essential (minimum required) 
• Previous experience of accounting processes and performing in an operational site environment. 
• Advanced user knowledge of all e1 accounting processes. 
• Proficient in Microsoft excel. 
• Minimum 5 GCSE’s (or equivalent) including English and Mathematics. 
• Previous experience of managing staff. 
• Previous experience of high volume invoice processing. 
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written 
Desirable (the ideal) 
• Attained, or studying towards an accounting qualification (e.g. AAT). 
• Previous experience of administering creditors payments. 
• Previous experience of managing company bank accounts. 
CSCS Card Level Required - Visitor
