iRecruit are currently looking for a Customer Service Analyst for an immediate start with one of our Rotherham based clients. This is a full term, permanent position.

 

Main Job Purpose

 

The management of Customer requirements and expectations. Utilising information derived from Logistics Department. Communicating effectively

with Customers to ensure excellent Customer Service is provided across for all Products.

 

Principle Accountabilities

  • First point of contact for all queries, concerns and issues relating to

    Orders, deliveries and future shipments

  • The preparation, release and expediting of SAP Freight Lists to ensure the on-time delivery of parts.
  • Providing accurate and timely delivery information to all customers regarding the status of their orders. Populating Customer portals and systems as appropriate
  • Ensure that Customer are aware of any supply issues likely to effect their delivery schedule providing countermeasures in advance of any disruption
  • To availability of parts and identify corrective actions using the following measures :

a)    Production Plan adherence

b)    Customer Delivery Performance

c)    Expedited Freight occurrences and cost)

  • Ensure Outbound Freight costs are within budget and provide root cause analysis for expedited costs
  • Liaise with New Product Introduction (APL4) to ensure awareness of engineering change control and all pre-series deliveries.
  • Regularly review and process EDI customer schedules, resolving any error messages preventing EDI from being accepted directly into the SAP system.
  • To input and maintain manual schedules received from Customers via non edi methods e.g. Email in excel format
  • Work closely with the Production Planning (APL1) to ensure a consistent flow of product availability and the achievement of delivery performance targets.
  • Participate in Customer visits, meetings and telephone conference calls ( accompanied and unaccompanied as appropriate) in support of specific customer requests and/or specific project

  Preferred Education & Experience  

                                              

  • Knowledge and understanding of Supply Chain processes including Planning and Manufacturing
  • Good Customer service experience in a high volume and dynamic manufacturing environment
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of MRP/ERP systems especially SAP R3

A good communicator with the ability to relate to people at all levels
