iRecruit are currently seeking an experienced energy
professional to work with a leading Energy Management company based in the
centre of London. The successful candidate will lead the technical team in the
UK and take full responsibility for operational performance. The company have
gone under a great deal of investment and this is a great opportunity to work
with an organisation with huge growth plans over the next few years.
As the Technical Director you will be responsible for all UK
technical operations, developing and implementing strategic plans and set
objectives. You will oversee projects from pre-sales through to development,
implementation, commissioning and hand over. Providing guidance to various
departments on all technical aspects, you will provide operational leadership
to ensure demand response technology projects are successfully completed on
time and to budget. Additional requirements will include presenting to
Directors and other departments as and when required.
The company are an innovative and well financially backed
energy organisation that specialise in demand response management. Although
based in central London, they work on an international basis, with mainland
Europe, East Asia and Israel being their main hubs for business outside of the
UK.
Having only been operating for just over 6 years, their
growth has been substantial, which they attribute to the leading edge
technology that they provide, as well as their entrepreneurial approach. With
big expansion plans, the company are recruiting heavily, and the newly
appointed Technical Director will be heavily involved in this.
Requirements
Background in Energy Management Systems or similar
Highly technical with experience of managing a team
Team management and leadership experience, with well-honed people skills
Strategic
thinker, with operational delivery capability
First rate customer management skills, coupled with strong listening and communications skills
