iRecruit are currently seeking a commercially aware and entrepreneurial individual to work as a Project Developer for a fast growing energy management company based in central London. The successful candidate will have a strong background in the finance investment industry and in working with VC and PE companies, in addition to financing large scale project in the energy sector. This is a great opportunity for a highly capable individual with strong commercial awareness to work for a well backed and forward thinking company with huge growth potential. 

The Role

As a Project Developer, you will take full responsibility for a pipeline of battery storage projects, managing the client relationship from start to finish and securing financing for solar farms, wind farms, diesel farms, industrial parks and other such sites. You will build relationships with land owners, holding companies, investors Private equity companies and venture capitalist as well as maintaining supply contracts with transmission system operators and distribution system operators. The scale of the work means that experience in project financing is essential, and ideally in executing Greenfield projects within the power/energy sector. 

The Company

Based in Central London, the company are a fast moving organization operating in the energy management sector and specialize within demand response technology. Working both internationally and within the UK market, they're looking to achieve considerable growth over the next few years with the addition of a number of new members of staff. Due to this continued expansion, they are now looking for an entrepreneurial individual to further develop their team as a Senior Project Developer. 

Requirements

" Strong finance/investment background 
" Experience in financing large scale greenfield projects 
" Experience in power/automation desirable
