iRecruit are currently seeking an experienced Sales Engineer with experience in the food industry to work for one of the UK’s leading designers of high performance magnetic systems. The ideal candidate will have  a minimum of two years’ experience of providing FBR equipment into the food industry and will have a results orientated approach. The successful candidate will benefit from a competitive salary and bonus as well as working for an organisation that provide numerous progression opportunities.

The Role

The successful candidate will work within the FBR area of the business, visiting various clients across the country and growing this client base. Reporting to the General Manager you will provide technical knowledge and sales skills to supply customers with the best solutions. As a Sales Engineer you will conduct site surveys in order to verify and document equipment conditions, provide pre sales technical assistance and product education. You will coordinate the sales project requirements and prepare and submit quotations whilst meeting sales targets.

Requirements

·         Minimum 2 years within Food, Chemicals or pharmaceuticals

·         Engineering qualifications desirable but not essential

·         Hard working individual, happy to ‘get stuck in’ when conducting surveys

·         Commercially aware

·         Able to work well on own initiative

·         Full driving license

·         Flexibility to travel
