Recruit are currently looking for a driven, professional and determined individual seeking a sales focused career to work as a Business Development Executive for a leading Energy Management organisation based in Sheffield. With huge growth over the last few years and further development expected, their is great scope in this role for progression and to be fast tracked into becoming a future Business Development Manager. The Role
Reporting to the Office Manager, the Business Development Executive will be involved in all aspects of gaining new potential sales opportunities through networking and conducting Telesales calls. Through both cold and warm leads the successful candidate will be proactive in setting up appointments for Business Development Managers which in time will lead to attending appointments themselves and the natural progression into a full Business Development role within a year to 18 months. Although the role may involve a lot of cold calling, the nature of the product means that it is a consultative sell and many of the leads will be warm. The company also expect the succesful candidate, however, to be proactive in seeking new opportunities and researching potential clients to target. Other aspects of the role will involve additional support to the sales team in the form of being the first point of contact for clients, providing product support and understanding over the phone and using the companies CRM System effectively.
