iRecruit are currently seeking an experienced sales professional within the lighting industry to work as an Area Sales Manager for a fast growing LED Provider. The successful candidate will benefit from a competitive salary and commission opportunity as well as the chance to work for an organization which is expecting to see a huge amount of growth over the next few years.

 The Role

As a an Area Sales Manager you will be predominantly based on the road, regularly going out and visiting both new and existing clients. In addition  you will also be proactive in seeking new opportunities in a region stretching both the North West and North East. The successful candidate should also be prepared to generate their own leads and build up a strong client base as the organization are currently looking to expand into the north of England. Taking a consultative approach, you will display a strong understanding of lighting technology with customers and will have experience selling into a commercial environment. Additionally, you will take on the engineering function in respect of designing customer specifications and providing quotes.

The Company

With their base in the Midlands, the company are a fast growing provider of various types of lighting to the commercial sector. Rather than selling through wholesalers, the organization focus on targeting end users by providing a strong, consultative approach for their range of LED & traditional products. Having originated in 2003 they have expanded quickly and with a presence in the South of England and the Midlands, they now require an experienced Area Sales Manager for to establish a Northern client base.

Requirements

·         Experience in selling lighting solutions to the commercial sector
