iRecruit are currently seeking an experienced sales professional within the
energy management sector to work as a Business Development Manager for a fast
growing electrical supply and technology provider. The successful candidate
will benefit from a competitive salary and commission opportunity as well as
the chance to work for an organization which is expecting to see a huge amount
of growth over the next few years.
The Role
As Business Development Manager you will be predominantly based on the
road, regularly going out and visiting both new and existing clients. The
majority of the clients will be based in and around the London area, and for that
reason, the successful candidate needs to be within commutable distance of the
city. There may be requirements further afield to the Midlands and occasionally
travel up to Scotland, depending on the needs of the business. The work is
however, predominantly going to be based in the South. You will be responsible
for leading the SME, commercial and industrial customer acquisition
predominantly in the private sector, successfully managing and developing a
strong pipeline in this area whilst managing and following through on tenders.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the UK electricity
market whilst a solid knowledge of electrical assets or BMS systems is highly
preferred.
The Company
Based in Central London, the company are a fast moving organization
operating in the energy management sector and specialize within electrical
supply technology. They have an exciting proposition which concentrates on an
electricity management and trading platform. Working both internationally and
within the UK market, they're looking to achieve considerable growth over the
next few years with the addition of a number of new members of staff. Due to
this continued expansion, they are now looking for a new Business Development
Manager to further develop their team in leading development within the private
sector.
Requirements
·
Extensive Business Development experience
·
Strong understanding of the electricity supply market
·
Previous experience working for an electricity broker is preferable
·
Strong experience of managing and succeeding in tenders
