iRecruit are currently seeking experienced Telecoms Engineer to be part of the Open reach contract for a large telecoms provider throughout South Yorkshire on behalf of one of the UK’s largest Telecoms infrastructure providers. Successful candidates will have worked in a similar role for the likes of BT, Virgin or other Telecoms provider and have the ability to terminate cabling/ cabinet works as well as installing and replacing fibre network and copper network cables. Working across South Yorkshire, this is a great opportunity to work for a leading organisation in telecoms who actively look to reward their employees.

The Role

Based across the South Yorkshire region, your role will be to work either on a permanent or contract basis, visiting customers to install fibre network cables and replace existing copper wire networks. You will be highly skilled in ensuring that the telecoms are installed to a high standard and ensure all technical standards are met. You will participate in design, planning and execution of telecoms projects nationwide and maintain continuous communication with contractors and customers.

Requirements

·         Experience in a similar role

·         Able to effectively install fibre networks & replace existing copper networks

·         Ability to terminate cabling/cabinet works
