iRecruit are currently seeking a motivated and
ambitious individual to work as an account manager for a fast expanding energy
consultancy based in Sutton, Surrey. The ideal candidate will have at least a
years’ experience in a similar role, having worked for an energy consultancy,
broker or supplier. You will also have had experience of the full account
management cycle within this role from initial contact through to the point of
negotiating contracts and advising on the best possible deals for their utility

firm based in Sutton and one the leading energy consultancies in the whole of
the UK. They work with both businesses and purchasing associations from across
the country and pride themselves on the customer experience that they provide. With
rapid expansion of the last few years, they’re continuing to look for talented
individuals within the industry in order to again expand their current client
base. With a large office in Sutton town center, they’re looking to expand this
to another level in order to accommodate their requirements.
Description
of Role
As an Account Manager you will be expected to ensure
that all clients assigned to you receive the highest level of support and
advice. An Account Manager takes full responsibility for the client’s account
from initial set up of the account, through the price negotiation and analysis,
processing and securing the contracts and dealing with any questions or queries
the client may have at any given time. They are proactive with identifying
strategies to enhance the services the client receives as well as ways to
improve the Company’s profitability from those accounts.
The successful account manager will be required to
prepare client accounts for tender by identifying the best pricing strategies
and will liaise with various suppliers to ensure this happens. They will analyse all received
offers and prepare a concise and clear strategy for the client as well as
managing any queries that each particular client may have. While conducting
these general account management duties, the account manager will also
consistently seek ways to cross sell and gain new clients. With extra
development, the account manager may also be required to assist in the training
of new staff.
Requirements

Experience in a similar role within energy
essential
·
Experience at an energy consultancy/broker is
preferred
·
Previous work at an energy supplier will be
considered
·
Maths literate
·
Confident telephone manner
·
Able to use own initiative well in order to
assess and make decisions
·
Proactive personality who wants to seek new opportunities
