iRecruit are currently seeking a highly capable and
entrepreneurial individual to take on a role as Managing Director of a fast
growing energy organisation based in the centre of London. With full
responsibility and leadership of all UK operations, this is the ideal
opportunity for a highly strategic and driven individual who has proven success
in developing SME’s and who is seeking the next big challenge in their solid
career.
The Role
As the Managing Director, you will have full autonomy of all
UK based activities and management. This will include; strategy, sales,
business development, marketing, resourcing, operations and technical delivery.
Directly reporting to you will be the Sales Director, Technical Director and
Operations Director, and you will be expected to put a firm plan in place in
order to grow the business accordingly.
Responsible for the overall yearly budget, you will ensure
that the full objectives and plans set out by the board for the companies
continued growth are met and exceeded and will provide strategic leadership to
make this happen. You will be expected to promote and develop the company’s
products within the demand response industry in order to facilitate business
growth and market share. The ideal candidate needs to have strong general
management skills in order to be able to adapt to the various aspects of the
role.
The Company
The company are an innovative and well financially backed
energy organisation that specialise in demand response management. Although
based in central London, they work on an international basis, with mainland
Europe, East Asia and Israel being their main hubs for business outside of the
UK.
Having only been operating for just over 6 years, their
growth has been substantial, which they attribute to the leading edge
technology that they provide, as well as their entrepreneurial approach. With
big expansion plans, the company are recruiting heavily, and the newly
appointed Managing Director will be heavily involved in this.
Requirements

Commercially
aware with P&L account responsibility

Entrepreneurial,
with experience in conceiving and then managing deliverables through to
successful execution
·
Team
management and leadership experience, with well-honed people skills
·
Strategic
thinker, with operational delivery capability
·
Proficient
in sales, business development and business planning
·
First rate
customer management skills, coupled with strong listening and communications
skills
