iRecruit are currently seeking an experienced projects/contracts
professional to work as a Contracts Manager for one of the UK’s leading lift suppliers
based in South West London. The successful candidate will have experience
working on a number of contracts within the lift industry and possess strong
Project Management skills. The role comes with an attractive salary and bonus

The Role
Reporting to the Regional Installation Director, the
Contract Manager will be responsible for managing the complete lift
installation process throughout London from receipt of order through to
coordination, material and labour procurement, installation, site works and
customer handover. Although an office based role, you will be out of the office
at least 2 days a week, coordinating projects on site and running contract
engineers and installation teams to ensure the smooth running of these
projects. You will ultimately be planning and implementing all aspects of
contracts throughout your region, coordinating to provide customers with the
correct requirements.
The Company
Operating nationwide, the client are a designer, manufacturer and installer of various types of lifts, escalators, moving ramps and walkways for various types of purposes. They pride themselves on establishing and maintaining strong relationships with clients coupled with treating their staff the right way. Based in London but with an additional office in Yorkshire, the company have a number of existing client accounts and due to continued expansion, require a new Contract Manager to coordinate projects throughout London.
Requirements
·
Experience within the lift industry in a
projects/installation/contract capacity desirable but construction and M & E will be considered
·
Related industry in construction may be considered
·
NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
·
Experience of managing field teams/contractors
·
Able to work on own initiative
·
Strong communication skills
·
Full Driving Licence
