iRecruit are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Controls Engineer for a company that specialise in designing and installing control solutions for a variety of industries to enable energy efficiency. This is a great opportunity for an adaptable Controls Engineer with experience in HVAC, BMS and refrigeration.

The Role

As an Electrical Controls Engineer you will regularly carry out site surveys as requested by clients and carry out set up and commissioning of control systems.  Additionally you will carry out second fix installation to these control systems and diagnose any faults. Managing projects, you will ensure that you continue to liaise with management, colleagues and subcontractors alike to make sure that each project runs smoothly and any problems are overcome. Additionally you will be expected o play an active role in regularly reviewing your own competence and that of the company, ensuring continued professional development.

The Company

Based in Bradford, the company are a leading providing of energy control solutions for a variety of commercial and industrial buildings. With a key focus on HVAC and refrigeration into retail environments, their team have a wealth of experience in all aspects of control solutions and BMS. Due to continued expansion, they now require a new engineer to join their team to work independently in carrying out site surveys and assisting with the project process of BMS installation. 

Requirements

 ·         Full driving licence

·         17th Edition Wiring Certification

·         Experience in BMS / HVAC / Lighting controls

·         Excellent working knowledge of the electrical industry

·         Basic understanding of IT networks

·         Ability to read and interpret electrical schematic diagrams

·         Flexibility to work shifts including night shifts

·         Neat, well presented and organised
