The Role

As a Software Tester, your role will ultimately consist of testing the various software packages created by the organisation that serve a number of industries. Prior to the software being supplied to the customer, it will be tested by yourself to ensure all units and systems are effective and consistent. Using VS.net you will maintain and support all developed systems using version control and development methodologies. Additionally you will create and maintain technical documentation to the highest standards. A degree of travel may be required in order to meet with customers and understand their software requirements.

The Company

The company are a thriving provider of software automation systems to a number of industries. A large aspect of how they operate involves supplying their specific packages to ports across the world for bulk and break terminals and control solutions for cranes and conveyors. They also work heavily with various types of conveyor systems and automation machines in factories. With a great presence in their sector, they have a large significant client base worldwide which has enabled continued and significant growth. Due to continued expansion, they now require a new Software Tester to join their team in Doncaster.

Requirements

·         VS.NET (Mainly VB.NET) understanding essential

·         HTML, ASP.Net, MS SQL & Crystal Report experience preferred

·         Minimum 1 year experience of Testing

·         Knowledge of automated test systems

·         Understanding of version control

·         IT related degree

·         Good interpersonal skills

·         Self-motivated personality
