iRecruit are currently seeking an experienced and capable individual to work for a fast growing organisation within the environmental industry as a Management Accountant. With full responsibility for management accounts and a large accounts team this is a great opportunity to work for a thriving business with a turnover of over £20m.

The Role

As a Management Accountant you will take full responsibility for providing monthly management accounts reporting directly to the Managing Director. You will identify areas where cost savings can be identified, using your accountancy skills to help reduce costs for the company. Working in tandem with the Finance Manager you will be required to manage a team of up to 12 members of staff, ensuring all accountancy tasks are carried out effectively. In addition to the standard role of management accounts, you will also provide various other accountancy takes such as bank reconciliation, payroll, VAT calculations profit & loss analysis and variance analysis.

They focus on both the commercial and retail sectors and their client base ranges from site outlets to large corporation. There main emphasis is a focus on recycling within market sectors including construction, commerce and utilities. Requirements 

·         CIM, AAT Level 4 qualified or QBE

·         Experience of managing a team

·         Experience of working for a business with turnover of £10m+

·         Excellent working knowledge of Sage Line 50

·         Good cost analysis understanding

·         Strong communication skills
