iRecruit are currently seeking an experienced Finance professional to work for an international organisation who specialise in material handling equipment at their Slough based office. The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant and will be highly experienced in managing a team as well as providing monthly and statutory accounts. With a highly competitive package this is a great opportunity for a highly experienced individual from a financial background to work for a leading organisation in their field. 



The Role

Reporting to the Chief Accountant, the successful candidate will hold full responsibility for statutory and internal management accounts on a timely and accurate basis and will also have the responsibility of organising audits as and when required. You will be proactive in identifying variances and reporting financial data to enable to meet company needs in terms of pre-set requirements. Managing an internal financial department, you will ensure that all aspects of the financial area are managed smoothly and will be proactive in seeking ways to improve financial aspects of the company.

Requirements

" Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA). 5 years post qualified experience.
" Experience in a similar managerial role essential
" Strong audit experience
" Advanced Excel skills, including VBA
" Ideally some use of the following accounting packages:

- Tetra - Newton
- Sage - iCON
- Hyperion
- M3
- Cognos
