iRecruit are currently seeking a highly experienced and capable Project Manager from within the power/automation industry to work for a fast growing energy management company based in Central London. The successful candidate will take full ownership of the company's battery projects from the initial contract agreement to full project delivery. With ambitious plans to develop further, this is a great opportunity for a highly skilled and experienced Engineer to work for an innovative and fast moving organisation. 

The Role

Operating within the battery aspect of the business, the successful candidate will take full ownership and responsibility for all internationally based battery projects. This will include the coordination of technical teams, the setting up of risk assessments and directing both commissioning and installation Engineers in the course of their duties. On all battery projects, the Project Manager will be the main point of contact for all clients and will regularly update and meet with the customer to discuss requirements and the developments of the project. Due to the international nature of the work, flexibility is a key factor for this role, and a working knowledge of another language such as French or German is desirable but not essential.

Although based in central London, they work on an international basis, with mainland Europe, East Asia and Israel being their main hubs for business outside of the UK. Having only been operating for just over 6 years, their growth has been substantial, which they attribute to the leading edge technology that they provide, as well as their entrepreneurial approach. With big expansion plans, the company are recruiting heavily and looking to increase market share in both UK markets and internationally. 

Requirements 

" Experience of Project Management within power/automation 
" Strong understanding of automation Engineering 
" Highly competent with Electrical systems and commissioning and installation ] 
" BA or higher in Electrical Engineering 
" Knowledge of HV, LV switchgear 
" Working Knowledge of a foreign language, e.g. French, German desirable but not essential 
" Project Management qualification such as APMP, PMP, PRINCE2
